At 17 years old, Kurt Mueller set a goal for himself to build a successful auto body shop. Today, almost 45 years later, Kurt was able to share the fruits of his labor to a group of young, aspiring entrepreneurs as they toured his successful auto shop CARSTAR Maryville, now proudly owned by Kurt’s son, Nathan.

Kurt shared a wealth of knowledge with our students this morning:

🚘 There is no such reality as getting something for nothing. You have to work hard for what you want to achieve.

🚘 Quitters never win, winners never quit.

🚘 Do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do. Anytime you help someone it makes you a better person.

🚘 If you want something, don’t be afraid to stand up and speak up for yourself.

🚘 The only bad mistake is the one you don’t learn from.

Kurt generously left our students with the book “Think and Grow Rich” and asked them to remember that their state of mind is everything! We would like to thank Kurt for taking the time to visit with us this morning and for putting so much time, thought and energy into our visit. We truly appreciate it!
