About Me

Mia Plegge is a Senior at Edwardsville High School. In school, Mia is a member of the National Honors Society, Orchestra, and the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team. She is also the Student Council Orange Rush Officer and manages the EHS Orange Rush Instagram account. Outside of school, she spends much of her time working at the Edwardsville Meyer YMCA Skating Rink and as a host at 54th Street. When she isn’t working, Mia enjoys hanging out with her friends, traveling, listening to music, and doing outdoor activities. After High School, she plans to pursue a degree in business at the University of Arkansas. Mia joined the CEO program to have an opportunity to learn about business from a hands-on experience and build connections and skills for future entrepreneurial success. She is super grateful and excited to be a part of the 2024 Edwardsville CEO class!

About My Business

Mia Plegge is the creator of MOCKD Mocktail Kits. She was inspired by the rising trend of mocktails and providing people of all ages with a non-alcoholic, but fun, quality drink option. The kits consist of a homemade concentrate made with locally sourced ingredients, dried garnishes, and environmentally conscious glass jar packaging. To enjoy a fun and flavorful drink, you just add sparkling water or your favorite mix-in and ice to the glass and start sipping! Mia will be attending the University of Arkansas in the fall to study marketing. She is excited to utilize the lessons and skills she has learned throughout her time in the Edwardsville CEO program to excel in her professional future in business.
