Sophie Byron

About Me

Sophie Byron is a senior at Edwardsville High School. Sophie has played varsity girls tennis since her freshman year and now serves as captain. She has also played on the varsity girls lacrosse team. Sophie is a member of National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and National English Honor Society. Sophie works as a tennis coach, teaching children ages 5-12 the fundamentals of the game. She also volunteers for the organization “Mitch N' Friends,” teaching people with disabilities how to play tennis while building connections with them. In her free time, Sophie enjoys playing tennis and lacrosse; hanging out with friends and family; traveling, and listening to music. She enjoys coding and plans to study Computer Science in college. Sophie chose CEO because she knew it was too good of an experience to pass up. She believes that she can learn valuable lessons through CEO that cannot be taught anywhere else.
